16 kwietnia niemiecka wytwórnia JazzHaus Musik opublikowała cztery nowe albumy:
playground4 "Hit The Ground Running"
Yaroslav Likhachev Quartet "Crumbling"
C.O.B. "Vanishing Points"
oraz:
Ramsch "Carabattola"
Ramsch to improwizujące trio z Bazylei, tworzone przez: grającego na fortepianie i rzadko spotykanym szpinecie (odmiana klawesynu) Pio Schürmanna, kontrabasistę Martina Wyssa, oraz znanego z formacji Krassport, składów Sebastiana Buschera, Michela Pilza i Georga Ruby i własnej grupy Webers Hebel (m.in. album "Hebelwirkung", 2017), perkusistę Daniela Webera.
Program wypełniający album zarejestrowany został w Szwajcarii na żywo, a materiał jaki otrzymujemy na płycie zatytułowanej "Carabattola" nie został poddany jakimkolwiek cięciom i dogrywkom.
Siedem improwizowanych form zainspirowanych zostało klimatem i specyfiką leżącej w pobliżu granicy z Włochami doliny Poschiavo, gdzie muzycy spędzili trzy tygodnie, wraz z gościnnie biorącym udział w sesji, obsługującym elektronikę Robinem Michelem.
"Carabattola" to muzyka tętniąca życiem, a jednocześnie niezwykle klimatyczna i osobliwa, powstała w wyjątkowym miejscu z udziałem doskonale rozumiejących się artystów.

Ramsch is a freely improvising trio from Basel using musical means in order to make socially relevant forms of communication audible, visible, available and therefore experienceable. Claims to musical leadership in this project change every second, not only being accepted within the band's interaction but also demanded, ascribed and often also provoked. For three weeks the four musicians let themselves inspire and musically seduce by the remoteness of the Suisse Poschiavo valley close to the Italian border. Starting with field recordings of the unique quickly changing atmosphere of the valley the four improvisers condensed and transformed the results bringing them live into their musical discourse: a swarm of bees turns into a rolling mill, the human voice into a mountain stream, textures melt, nature takes back its sounds - being assured of the support of the Ramsch microscope.
