Vicky Stylianou to urodzona w Atenach znakomita pianistka, która już jako nastolatka została laureatką I nagrody Panhelleńskiego Konkursu Pianistycznego „K. Papaioannou”. Od lat z powodzeniem koncertuje specjalizując się w formach solowych i kameralnych (m.in. z flecistkami Iwoną Glinką i Virginie Bove, klarnecistami Georgem Georgiou i Yannisem Samprovalakisem, czy altwiolistą Andreasem Georgotasem).
Na nagranej przez nią płycie "Les Noces de Chounette and Other Works for Piano" znajdziemy zbiór utworów fortepianowych urodzonego w 1955 roku w USA, a osiadłego we Francji wszechstronnego kompozytora Louisa Sautera.
Głównym punktem programu płyty jest 12-częściowy cykl "Les Noces de Chounette" zawierający miniatury stylistycznie obejmujące tak odległe od siebie formy jak preludium i fuga, ale też foxtrot i samba.

This new release LES NOCES DE CHOUNETTE from Phasma-Music presents a selection of works for solo piano by French contemporary composer Louis Sauter (b. 1955), recorded by world-class Greek pianist Vicky Stylianou. The highlight of the album is Les Noces de Chounette, a set of 12 pieces in styles ranging from a prelude & fugue to a foxtrot and a samba, all celebrating the composer's wedding to his wife Hélène. Also featured are Sauter’s Apophtegmes – a candy box of short miniatures, Vagabondages – a set of pieces depicting locations where the composer lived, the intriguing Umbriel, and the astrophysics-inspired Suite Cosmique. The album concludes with Sauter’s brilliant variations on the Provençal tune Digo Janeto.
